Purpose |
The semester includes a newly developed course and project work where you get to work with very current and job-relevant topics. The new mandatory graduate course held every Wednesday from 8.30 to 12.30 in local from 43.2 to 38. The course starts on. 02.09 pm. 8.30 and this continues today the formation of groups for project work also. Therefore, be prepared to participate until at. 14th
Project work (15 ETCS) could usefully be integrated with the compulsory course (10 ECTS). The course is divided into four smaller, so-called portfolio collections in advance (partially) determined challenges that are based on the course. The semester will therefore be dominated by a continuous course of 25 ECTS, where there will be concrete framework for the project part (the last 5 ETCS is an optional course). This provides a unique opportunity to target the process so as to achieve a concrete, both theoretical and practical competence. And exactly this opportunity, we will exploit. Our goal is that you, based on knowledge of the relevant theory, be qualified to:

You will of course recognize the structure of User Driven Design course, but this time you must also include a change and improvement based on the design and evaluation of an information technology component. Ie you want to perform a feasibility study and also help to set the agenda for the vision phase and realize this with a proper evaluation.
The course and the project part is divided into 4 blocks of 4 weeks. In each block will project part be linked to the course call regarding the execution of portfolio products that fit the project phase you should be now. The four blocks will form a coherent whole, and project-portfolierne will in practice be 4 parts of a system architecture-improvement, all affect Informatics four core areas: system development and design, implementation, and change management, evaluation of IT and IT security. The contents of the 4 blocks are outlined below. Links and information about literature, curriculum, information about the course and the creation of Moodle will happen during August. Block 1: Project establishment (week 36-39) Here you must establish a project, initiating a case, identify stakeholders, and establish a plan and a working strategy for the work packages to be performed throughout the semester to portfolio project. The core areas here will primarily relate to system development and design, implementation, and change management, and evaluation. There will of course be introduced a case you can choose. You can also find a case for your portfolio project. The requirements of a case / business are that: - it consists of several different types of stakeholders - the daily work carried out with the use of several types of technological systems - you can get access to both technology and stakeholders until the end of the semester Block 2: Organizational architecture analysis (week 40-43) Here perform "as-is" evaluation of the system architecture of your case and select a focus. The core areas here will primarily relate to IT security evaluation and system development and design. Block 3: Change Strategy and vision (44-47) Here, you need to consult the main stakeholders and create a vision for change, visualize a "to-be" situation for them and construct the skeleton of the new system architecture as well as establish an appropriate implementation strategy. The core areas here will mainly concern implementation and change management, IT security, and system development and design. Block 4: Architecture Improvement and Evaluation (week 48-51) Here you have to develop a prototype of the new system architecture aspects and evaluate it and present the results of the primary stakeholders. The core areas here will mainly concern the evaluation, implementation, and change management, and IT security. |
