Tervetuloa :: Välkommen :: Bonvenon :: Welcome
TOVE SKUTNABB-KANGAS' HOMEPAGE

I am no longer updating this home page. It still has some texts that we have not had time to move to my new home page www.tove-skutnabb-kangas.org, but in general the new one is already more up-to-date than this one. Have a look !

Tove's Big Bib

I have a Big Bibliography (almost 300 pages) on multilingualism, bilingual and indigenous/minority education, linguistic human rights, language and power, the (subtractive) spread of English, etc where I have everything I have used since 1987. Thanks to The Saami University College in Guovdageaidnu, Norway, who have it on their web site; when you come to the page, click first on International, then go to Research and Science, then click on the right hand side on Bibliografi under my name (i.e. not the green Bibliografi above my name): Tove's Big Bibliography.

UNPFII Expert paper

Robert Dunbar and I have written a second Expert paper for the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, on Forms of Education of Indigenous Children as Crimes Against Humanity. It was submitted by Lars Anders Baer, prepared in cooperation with the Forum's first chair Ole-Henrik Magga, and discussed at the Forum's session 21 April - 2 May 2008. A short version of it can be downloaded from PFII's website: UNPFII Expert paper.
